Why Did We Name the Project “Yonah”?
We chose the name “Yonah” (Hebrew for dove) inspired by the story in the book of Genesis, where the dove returns to Noah with an olive leaf in its beak — a symbol of hope, peace, and a new beginning after a time of crisis.
This reflects the heart of our project: to bring hope and renewal to communities facing challenges, and to open a new chapter of growth, healing, and connection.
